A new company, Feed the Beast Always, was formed by a group of 4 individuals, by a chance meeting during the ASD Market Week trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 27th – March 1st, 2016. The company saw a huge gap in full level services offered by nearly all Amazon & FBA service companies & consultants, and this meant an opportunity to fill that void.
How the company got started, play by play:
Prior to the meetup, at the ASD trade show, the guys had all known each other from their activity and presence in nearly every major Facebook group made for Amazon FBA sellers, private labelers, eBay sellers, thrift store and garage sale enthusiasts, wholesale trade, and entrepreneurFacebook groups of all sorts.
So, the founders had known each other for quiet some time, and decided to meetup at the trade show, to attend several training seminars & workshops, in addition to walking the floor speaking with vendors from all markets, countries, and ethnicity groups.
Almost immediately, the idea to begin a simple private mastermind group was raised, and accepted as a great idea by all parties. No thoughts of being a real company, were in the air yet. After each night, when the trade show had closed, we would meet up with other Amazon.com, eBay.com, & e Commerce sellers and experts, within the field. There, we met many new people and talked shop for hours on hours, but the funny thing was, I don’t remember learning much of anything from the other sellers & “expert” leaders, whom they were members of their paid training programs.
Aside from not learning much from the others, it still was a very valuable & important experience for me, because they were asking hundreds of questions to myself and my future partners. The leaders of the groups were knowledgeable and were good sellers, but none of them had the track record & extremely fast growth rates, that our companies have accomplished.
My Family Owned Company Background
- My brother Stewart and myself, are executive officers at Segura Trading, LLC, as you may well know already.
- Anyhow, our company is very knowledgeable, but for a reason, part of my job is I get paid to go through new training courses (All of them are paid, and often cost $500 – $3,000).
- These classes have thought myself and my company members, secrets, tricks, tips, insider information, and access to resources, software, tools, & expert support groups, only a paid member would have access too.
Why so many courses?
» Many people may take a class or 2, but then they stop, because they may have found a system that works for them & is generating profit and revenue.
» Our approach, is to continuously be training in order to use the new takeaway strategies, knowledge, & resources, to immediately apply to on-going business operations. Then, onto the next course that comes out, which always features a highly innovative & brand new methods & methodology.
The final day of the show, we had seen exactly what we needed, picked up many new invaluable wholesale suppliers, in a large variety of industries. We had a full plate of work to do, when we would get back to Louisiana. That last night, sitting down & relaxing over a couple beers, the idea for the company was formed & begun the process of perfecting it.
Who are the other partners & what’s their value?
Each person, has an extensive background & knowledge of specific fields and areas surrounding the entire process, everything from how to source & buy products at the right cost, extreme couponing, importing private label products from overseas, using information technology & software to give huge advantages over competitors, eCommerce marketing specialists with over 10 years experience (Individually, not collective), public relations specializations, life long English majors & copyrighting experts, and even one of the founders is a professional musician.
Two of the partners wish to remain anonymous, for personal resources, and I will honor that. The other three partners include Mr. Jason Levi, a professional musician and successful private label marketer, Mr. Stewart A. Segura, a professional in information technology & business management, and last, but not least, myself Mr. Whitney Michael Segura, who’s background includes an extensive 15 years as an entrepreneur, 10 years in internet marketing, and has been smack in the middle of business, almost his entire life.
